To say this is a time of complete uncertainty would be an understatement.

We still haven't wrapped our heads around what's going on in the world. It's so unimaginable and so unthinkable that it almost feels like a nightmare, or a crazy, badly produced apocalypse movie.

It feels like life has stopped, like time has frozen. So many of us are missing out on big life events and it all just seems so unfair.

This time has been especially difficult to accept as college seniors. So many of our lasts have been taken away. Our last college class, our last time on campus, our last night out, our last graduation ceremony, our last time seeing so many of the people that have made the past 4 years memorable.

For a while, we were in a state of depression when we found out that classes were moved online and our semester was pretty much over. But we soon realized that there's nothing we can do about any of this, and that so many people are in the same boat. So instead, we have been trying to make the most out of this quarantine.

We've been making a point to count our blessings. Think positive, people.

I have decided to quarantine at school with my roommates. The virus is spreading much more rapidly in New Jersey and therefore I thought I'd be safer in South Carolina, where at least the weather is warm.

Here is a list of things I've been doing to keep busy, and stay safe:

1. Cooking. My roommates and I have literally become quarantine chefs. Last night we made parmesan risotto with scallops and garlic spinach. The night before we made rigatoni in an onion, cheese and white wine sauce with baked prosciutto. And tomorrow night we're making steak with rice pilaf and zucchini. We've always wanted to learn to cook, so we're doing it.

2. Spending time outside. Every morning I do a quick, 15-minute workout outside by the South Carolina State House. I also usually go for long walks around Greek Village or by the river. And most days, I'll lay out on the field and work on my tan, too. The one thing thats keeping me sane is being outside in the nice weather.

3. Drinking. A lot. A bottle a day keeps the corona virus away?

4. Relaxing. Whether that means a new episode of All American on Netflix or reading the book my friend lent to me, "The Identicals" by Elin Hilderbrand.

I've also decided to quarantine at my home at school, but the Connecticut weather has been a bit restrictive. I don't always have the opportunity to get outside, which can make me feel super stir crazy.

Here is a list of what I've been doing to stay sane when I have to stay indoors:

1. Playing Games. Board games, card games, Wii games, you name it. Sometimes they turn into drinking games and sometimes they don't. OR take this time to practice your skills at actual drinking games in a judgement free environment. We will be coming out of quarantine as beer pong masters.

2. Crafting. Pinterest has tons of adult coloring pages that are easy to print out at home. We like to turn on our favorite sing alongs and jam out while coloring together. It passes the time and it's a great stress reliever.

3. Hiking. When the weather permits. We've had a lot of fun exploring all the trails in our nearby state park. It also just feels great to be in nature after being cooped up indoors for an extended period of time.

4. Ordering Takeout. Now is more a time than ever to support small businesses! Ordering for pickup also gives us an opportunity to safely leave the house for a little bit. It's nice to order from the local college spots to support your favorite places and reminisce about the memories you made there.

It's extremely important to stay connected right now and keep ourselves busy. What have you all been doing to stay sane during quarantine? Let us know @twofoldblog.
