Maybe now isn't the time to be traveling, but a girl can dream, right?

A couple of months ago, I went to Savannah, GA for the 2nd time and let me tell you it is one of the most beautiful cities I've been to in the US. Think Charleston, but smaller and in my opinion, prettier.

Here are some tips if you plan on traveling to Savannah one day!

Hotels:

The Hyatt Regency- Right on the Savannah River and overlooks the Talmadge Memorial Bridge. Right in the heart of downtown Savannah and close to all of the restaurants, bars and shops.

Perry Lane Hotel- Not on the water but a really cool and nice hotel.

The Bohemian- On the water with funky and cool vibes.

Activities:

Shopping- There is a long street of different stores on W. Broughton Street, including Free People, Urban Outfitters, Dress Up, lululemon, and other boutiques specific to Savannah!

Explore- My absolute favorite part of Savannah is its beauty. Every tree is draped with Spanish moss and every square is beautifully landscaped with flowers, statues and places to sit to take in the views. Savannah is built around its "squares", which is basically a small park. There are several throughout the city and are surrounded by charming southern houses. Columbia Square, Calhoun Square, Madison Square, Chippewa Square are just a few that Savannah has to offer.

Learn- Savannah is known for its extensive Southern history, not to mention it's also considered to be haunted. The first time I ever went, my mom and I took a trolly ride around the city. The tour guide told us stories about the houses that surrounded us and the making of the city. It made Savannah even cooler to walk around. There are a bunch of different trolly companies throughout the city.

Beach- If you're over the city, take a 30- minute drive to Tybee Island. The beach is public and you only will have to pay for parking. There are a bunch of casual, beach-y restaurants and bars around, too. You can also try to find Miley Cyrus' beach house from The Last Song here.

Wormsloe Plantation- If you love the Spanish moss as much as I do, take a short drive to Wormsloe Plantation. You can drive or walk on a private road surrounded by Spanish moss trees. The Last Song was filmed here, too.

Restaurants

The Coffee Fox- Coffee shop known for their iced Horchata latte.

Little Duck Diner- Big menu, cute vintage diner atmosphere, amazing gourmet grilled cheeses, AND they put rubber ducks in your drinks. It's cute, I swear.

The Collins Quarter- Best brunch ever! Get the lavender latte and thai iced coffee with the avocado smash toast or bananas foster french toast. Everything is so good here!

Vic's on the River- Great dinner place overlooking the Savannah River. Great for Savannah cuisine and seafood. A little on the fancier side.

The Olde Pink House- Another great dinner place. The Olde Pink House is literally a pink mansion. The inside feels like your grandmother's dining room, but in the best and most charming way possible. Great for Savannah cuisine and seafood and they oftentimes have live music.

The Flying Monk Noodle Bar- Pho/Asian restaurant that gives big portions! On W. Broughton Street.

Leopold's- Savannah is KNOWN for this homemade ice cream place. It's a must go for dessert.

Bars

The Grove Savannah- Rooftop

Rocks on the River- Rooftop on the top of the Bohemian Hotel.

Peregrin- Rooftop on the top of the Perry Lane Hotel.

Savoy Society- A must! Very cool vibes.

The Alida- Rooftop
