It's always so hard to come up with a unique Valentine's Day date. Of course the pandemic doesn't help either. Now that the weather is absolutely freezing, I'm really having a hard time imagining myself doing anything outside.

There's always the classic dinner date, but I really wanted to amp it up and do something different this year. So here's my take on the best ways to celebrate VDay at home.

Custom Sweatshirts

This is just the absolute cutest thing in my opinion and is actually what my bf and I will be doing this VDay. You can go super cringey and write lovey messages on the sleeves, or pick a theme for your custom sweatshirts. Amazon has tons of iron-on patches packs that will make this DIY super easy.

Obviously I'll be posting the process and the final product on our insta @twofoldblog ;)

Shareable Dinner Date

OK, I know I just said dinner dates are basic. But what's more fun than finger food? Whether you cook your own apps or just raid the frozen section at Trader Joe's, have a bite size, shareable dinner makes this classic date so much more fun.

Paint & Sip

Guys I'm actually shook that my bf suggested this one. He's not the least bit crafty but he wants to do a Bob Ross paint night. Like, I'm not gonna say no. Especially if there's wine involved.

If your SO isn't much of a canvas painter, you can also make a Dollar Store run and pick up cheap house decor to paint. Make your own catch-all trays, vases, mugs, the options are endless.

Mixology Class

This is such a good one for the couples that like to learn new things together. Airbnb Experiences has mixology classes you can sign up to take online, or you can find recipes and create your own lessons. Stick to pink drinks to keep the VDay theme going strong.

Spa Night

It might be a big ask to get your SO to do a face mask, but this spa night aesthetic is such couple goals to me. I'm just imagining big fluffy robes, candles, all the best skincare products, and maybe a cocktail or too. This is such a cute way to end your VDay date.
