What To Wear This Fall

I’m gonna start this post off by saying I have literally no qualifications to be making fashion predictions. However, I suddenly have endless amounts of time to add clothes to my online shopping cart with no intention of buying any of them.
This lil’ hobby has me thinking about what’s going to be trending this fall. It’s a weird season because no one knows if we’re going to be back to business and heading out on the streets or if we’re going to be shut inside again.
Either way, there’s a few pieces influencers are hinting might be worth adding to your closet this fall.
Loungewear
This one is obvious. If you used to think buying loungewear is a waste of money, I think you should reconsider. It lowkey feels so nice to be able to throw on a cute but comfy sweat set rather than a baggy frat tee and old sweatpants with your high school mascot on them. I also think loungewear that can be transitioned to wear out of the house is going to be huge.
Jewel Tones
I’m pretty sure I heard someone say this on their insta story, or maybe I made it up, but something in my bones tells me that shiny, silky, gem-colored clothing is going to be everywhere. This is a super cute way to transition from bright summer shades to darker fall tones without getting too neutral. I’m just picturing frolicking through an apple orchard in a ruby red silk midi skirt and a cream colored sweater and OMG. Yes.
Animal Print
Animal print has had a huge moment and I don’t think it’s done just yet. Snake and leopard print was super trendy almost a year ago, so I’m predicting that we’re going to move on to something like zebra or crocodile. Or maybe even cow print? Once again, I have literally no credentials for knowing upcoming fashion trends, but I personally would love to add some of these prints to my style this fall.
