Here in northern New Jersey, and in most places in the Northeast, Fall is quick. It is the 2 weeks in between Summer and Winter where every day is a beautiful 70 degrees. The air is cool, but not cold. You can walk outside with a light long sleeve and jeans and feel comfortable. But, like I said, it's quick. And sooner than later it will feel too cold to enjoy the outdoors.
So let's embrace Fall while it lasts! Here are some fun outdoor Fall activities that you can do while the weather is still perfect.
1. Let's DRANK!
Wineries, breweries, distilleries galore! Now is the perfect time to get a group of friends, take a drive and drink the day away. If you could find one with some live music- even better! What's better than a cute Fall outfit, a glass of wine and your closest friends?
2. Picnic-ing
This is a great date idea. Go to your local grocery store and pick up your favorite snacks. Personally, I'd get a selection of meats, cheeses and crackers and make a charcuterie board. Spread out a blanket in your local park or in another peaceful and private area and enjoy the tranquility of the season.

3. Apple/Pumpkin Picking
It wouldn't be a Fall list if apple/pumpkin picking wasn't on it. I like to drive to a farm that's a little farther from where I live, because it makes it more of an adventure. Enjoy all the basics of Fall, such as hay rides, corn mazes and pumpkin patches. Once you've picked your apples, pumpkins, and other foods, it's time to go home and start baking!

4. Hiking
I don't know about you, but I think the Summer is way too hot to enjoy a hike. But now is the perfect time. This is the best way to spend the day outside, appreciate the weather and also get in some excersise.

5. Bonfires
The BEST Fall nighttime activity, by far. And what would it be without s'mores? There's something so comforting about the smell of a real, wood bonfire when the air is cold but the fire keeps you warm. It's the best and only way to enjoy a cold Fall night.
