Winter is coming, kids, and you know what that means: time for a new playlist. As soon as the first snowstorm hits, I find myself queueing up a whole new slew of songs and artists. Sometimes this includes the classic Christmas carols, but this playlist is made to last you all the way from holiday szn to the chilly days in February. So renew your Spotify premium subscription, brew a cup of hot chocolate, and cozy up while you bop to this wintery mix.

For When You’re Waiting Out A Snowstorm: White Winter Hymnal - Fleet Foxes

This song seriously makes me feel some type of way. I wish I could keep the harmonies in this song on repeat forever. This is a good one to throw on when you’re starting to miss warmer weather because it will make you fall in love with the magic of a snow day all over again.

For When You’re Giving Gifts: I Think It Must Be Christmas - Bruno Major

No hate on the classic Christmas songs, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a little variety. Bruno Major takes the grainy and nostalgic feel of your favorite carols and turns them into something fresh but familiar in this sweet, sweet song. I have actually fallen in love with this man and I think you will, too.

For When You Get Too Drunk At Your Family’s Holiday Party: Lullaby (Acoustic Version) - Atlas Bound

Just FYI, cuffing season + heavy pours of wine at family dinner is not always a good combo. If you find yourself getting a little too in your feelings watching all your cousins get cozy with their SO’s, same. Sometimes, all you can do is put on a sappy love song and shed a single tear. And then make a beeline for the bottle of tequila that your fun uncle brought to the potluck.
